Global Warming

Many scientists claim that global warming is happening, and that it is a negative outcome of the carbon dioxide that we put into the air. The fact that our climate is getting warmer is true for several reasons. First of all, our planet is coming out of an ice-age, meaning increasing temperature for several million years until the next ice-age. It also true that our planet has an increasing amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. But why is this negative? It is true that it would be detrimental to the health of humans. But there is a distinct possibility that it would have happened whether or not humans existed as more oxygen consuming species come to inhabit the planet. Even if all humans died because of a lack of oxygen, and the earth did heat up, it would simply be a return to how the earth was originally formed, which contained the necessary components for the creation of life. It was only three billion years ago that our planet began to have oxygen at all, a few million years after life had begun here.
