If the government and record companies are going to fight back against P2P filesharing, they are alienating the majority of their target market. P2P is a good thing and should be supported because it enables listeners to find new bands and change music tastes more quickly. Throughout the history of music, new mediums of recording and reproducing music have always brought about scares, but each of these new mediums have helped the music industry to grow. Let the people have their music.
