My Desktop Environment

My Desktop EnvironmentI thought it would be interesting to share my desktop environment. I got the desktop backgrounds from the integrated kde-look.org download tool. I love using the integrated "get new" feature for backgrounds, icon sets, and other appearance elements. You can see my regular clock, launcher, task tray, trash, and shortcuts on my bottom left panel. My bottom right panel has a binary clock.

One of the other neat features my friend Doug informed me of was the "display applications from only this screen" which I have gotten really used to. It allows each screen of my dual-monitor setup to only show the applications that I have on that screen. I'm not sure how it affects productivity, but I prefer it and it always gives me a little bit of a shock when I am on a machine that doesn't have it.
