Language is power. Throughout the world, language ties people together, while at the same time being the main barrier between cultures. Language is the most important thing in determining interpretation of meaning. Books should be read in their original language, and with their original intent. This is why it is so horrible when books such as Harry Potter become translated into a different dialect of the same language! This needs to stop beccause it is destroying the original meaning, and the only meaning that remains was created by blatant commercialism.
