| Mega Man has finally come to the N64, and
with it he brough awesome graphics, a stunning RPG setting, deadly
bosses, and vast 3D quests. The N64 version is simply a suped up version
of Playstation's Mega Man Legends, including similar worlds. This
first person RPG includes a multitude of quests that will take you
all over the large world of Mega Man 64. This game has an economy,
multiple parts and difficulty levels, and lots of characters to intereract
and trade with. Although in this version you can't plunder the big
boss'es corpses for special weapons, but you can find super-hard bosses
that you need to find the weekness of to defeat. Mega Man is discovered
and adopted by a digger (an excavator that seeks out power sources
underground) named Barrell, who raises him with his granddaughter
Roll to become a digger as well. In the first underground maze, an
excellent in-game tutorial familiarizes you with the controls. By
the time you get out, you'll know how to upgrade your Buster gun,
lock onto targets, strafe, jump, dodge, rotate the camera, and how
to do it all in 3D. |
